Location: Denmark, Force Technology - Hørsholm
You will play a key role in making new products ready for production, contributing to the manufacture and testing of prototypes, and ensuring that experience from production, suppliers and customers is translated into specific product improvements.
As part of the development team, you will work closely with developers, technicians, production teams, PCB suppliers and product specialists to ensure products can be produced, tested, documented and supported efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include prototype assembly and testing, preparing PCB test procedures, and maintaining PCB, design and production documentation to support product release and continuous improvement. In collaboration with PCB suppliers and product specialists, you will also contribute to design changes, ECO/ECM processes and component end-of-life (EOL) management.
About the role and key responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective transfer of products from development to production, including NPI, documentation and release to production
- Contribute to the manufacture, assembly and testing of prototypes in close collaboration with development, production and suppliers
- Plan and coordinate testing, validation and verification activities, and prepare and maintain test procedures for printed circuit boards, products and subsystems
- Maintain PCB documentation, design documentation, bills of materials, product data and production processes in connection with development, handover and production maturation
- Support production with technical assistance, troubleshooting, root cause analyses and continuous improvements
- Lead and contribute to ECO and ECM processes, and manage design changes and component end-of-life (EOL) in collaboration with PCB suppliers and product specialists
- Work closely with subcontractors and PCB suppliers to support prototype development, production, testing, documentation and product improvements
- Contribute to compliance, traceability and regulatory requirements while developing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including manuals, instructions and technical training materials
Your profile
We expect that you:
- Hold an engineering degree or an equivalent technical qualification
- Have experience in product development, production engineering, Product Engineering or NPI processes
- Have hands-on experience with prototypes, testing, validation and technical troubleshooting
- Have experience with electronics. Experience with printed circuit boards, mechanics or mechatronics is considered an advantage
- Thrive at the intersection of hardware, software, production and supplier collaboration, working closely with developers, production teams, product specialists, service functions and external suppliers
- Work systematically with documentation, quality, test procedures and process improvements
- Communicate effectively in both Danish and English.
