Do you want to lead a complex and key strategic development project that enables advanced in-service inspection of ammonia storage tanks?
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our R&D organization and play a key role in developing the next generation of advanced inspection systems.
In this role, you will lead a cross-functional product development project and turn customer needs into high-quality systems used for advanced inspection across the world.
About DAIS
DAIS (Digital Asset-Integrity Solutions) is a dynamic business unit with approximately 50 employees, delivering innovative, high-end products and services primarily to the wind industry, but also to the nuclear, oil & gas, and space industries.
Our core technologies include ultrasound, x-ray, and AI.
We build the physical Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment: high-tech measuring systems that global heavy industries rely on.
The business unit stands on the shoulders of FORCE Technology’s 85 years of experience within advanced technology in a broad range of domains.

About the role and key responsibilities
As Project Manager in R&D, you will take responsibility for strategically important development projects from early concept and design through verification, validation, and delivery. You will lead a cross‑functional project team working within mechanics, electronics, embedded and UI software.
Using a structured stage-gate development framework, you will ensure predictable execution, transparency, and strong alignment across the organization.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of mechanical, electronics, and software engineers to achieve project goals
- Coordinate verification and validation activities, including test planning, execution, and documentation
- Create strong cross-functional alignment across R&D, Production, and other key stakeholders
- Balances technical details with project-level decision making
- Provide clear project communication, reporting, and decision material for steering groups and senior management
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to secure timely and successful delivery
You will report to Director of Department, Digital Asset-Integrity Solutions, Mette Gellett, and your primary work location will be in Brøndby.

Your profile
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, project management, or a similar discipline is required
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a project manager in R&D within product development that combines electronics, mechanics, embedded and UI software
- Hands-on experience working within stage-gate or similar structured development models
- Strong experience collaborating with suppliers
- Experience with product testing, qualification, and validation processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align across technical and organizational boundaries
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
